i just got my 5.1 surround sound speakers off of ebay today, and i have to say they're awesome. i got them for only £30 as well. my brother wasnt too pleased when i told him, as his cost him about £100. i could have got 7.1 for an extra £10, but i didnt really see the point.

my bank balance however isnt awesome, im spending too much on ebay at the moment:( a good £100 in the last week, so the prospects of me getting a new graphics card arent looking too hot at the moment. its just too damned easy to spend money on ebay! damned impule buying!:mad:

so thats a digital camera, a set of speakers, a muse t-shirt and a muse cd, and an sd memory card for the camera:eek:

    Think that's bad...

    I just got a special email from NewTek for existing owners of older versions. Fill out the survey form, and I got $200 discount for the electronic upgrade to version 8.0!

    So for $300 I could be up to date...

    Um, how much older are those versions? I have no idea why I'm asking, since if I don't get the e-mail, it don't apply to me, but I'm curious if I should start saving my pennies out of false hope, or continue to be satisfied with my superannuated version of Lightwave.

    Disturbing Fact: Spoiler: I spelled "superannuated" right on the first try, without looking it up.

    $60 on beer.

    $130 for Boston.

    Damnation Im squandering the budget before my eyes!

    But to whoever is interested I may be selling my Diablo II account in the near future via ebay. Both out of desperation & for the coming Guild War switch over.

    ~20 for film for class
    ~40 on ebay, got a new mouse and keyboard. (MX510 and the logitech elite)
    ~200 for a camera
    ~350 for books

    and me with no job.....

    I use 5.1 Altec Lansing noise-cancelling headphones. $50-60 on NewEgg. :p

    I like my Dolby Headphone output. Who needs 7 speakers and a sub when you have a good pair of headphones and some decent intelligence in the software putting out the sound? :)

    Seems to go back all the way to the Amiga versions. As long as you have a serial number/dongle.

    They advertise the electronic upgrade from ALL previous versions for $495 until March I think...

    WIth the $200 discount that's a sweet deal.
