Looks like John Woo signed up to direct the movie version.

I hope to god they find a decent John Clark. That is one huge fucking shoe to fill.

    Bout time we get a decent team for the next Clancy movie!!! Sum of All Fears was a dissapointing installment.

    John Clark so far has been played by Wilem Dafoe (Clear and Present Danger) and Liev Schreiber (Sum of All Fears). Personally I feel that Dafoe did a pretty good job...although, having read Without Remorse and Rainbow Six, he may be a little sharp (and not just in physical appearance) for Clark...Schreiber was just too soft...so, let's find someone in between;-) (I would be content with Dafoe reprising his role, however)

    Ehh I really couldn't see Dafoe playing Clark in the first place after watching that movie where he screws Madonna right in the butt. :eek:

    I mean forgodsake its Madonna who knows where that ass has been?

    On a sidenote I really would like to see Debt of Honor & Executive Orders made into a tv miniseries since both are way too big for one or two movies. Without Remorse better be good I really hope Tom waits on it because I wanted to be the one to direct that sucker! Its one of my favorite novels too but oh well another idea thrown to the wolves.

    I just hope John Woo doesn't screw it up... I somehow don't see his style fitting the book....
