    Check Astronomy magazine's April number (have to admit they surely send magazines early fto subscribers), it has article about low surface brightness galaxies which are very dim and consist mostly from gas instead of stars... in fact so dim that they can be darker than their background.


    And matter can be invisible (send no radiation) but gravity gossips very easily.
