??!!!

Don't think its right that big newsstations starting agitation agains france or other countrys.

sounds like propaganda at its worst to me.

i think even at the beginning of the irak war it was unthinkable that here in germany anchroman said " don't buy products from the usa"...

Don't believe it. Until we see the French government do something to help in the war on terror, we should consider that country hostile to our safety.
Yesss. right

*starting to throw up*

this is not againt the usa or its resident's in general. i just donÄt think it's allright as a big newsstation to start such things.

Its Fox News, Dont listen to them
  • he should've put his own article under the "Most Ridiculous Item of the Day" section
  • It is an editorial "Talking Points" - not a real news article. The point is to get people talking - silly or not - it seems to have worked unfortunately.

I cannot believe how many people out here will outright refuse to buy products from say, Mexico or China, because they were not made in the US. Really fucking irritating since most often when something of mine breaks, it says "Made in the USA" on it
  • SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
My favorite is when people refuse to buy foreign cars, especially toyota, becuase they want something "Made in America." What they forget is that many "import" brands are actually manufactured here in the states. Take Toyota, for exapmle. The US has become the manufacturing center for their trucks and SUVs...and yet the argument is still considered valid.

What bugs me is hw Bill O'Reilly can still get away with saying this sort of crap and keep a viewer base. One of the moments that sticks out in my mind was a broadcast in either 2003 or 2004 where he went on to state how his "boycott" on french products was successfull by showing proof that their exports (or profits from exports) were down some billion dollars. What he didn't mention was the time the information spanned (2001 through then-present), and that most of the losses occured far before his "successful boycott" was imposed in mid 2002. Just one example.

It's amazing how y'all dismiss a link because it contains the phrase "foxnews.com" in it. I may not like CNN for everything they do, but I don't dismiss their news/editorial articles. Be a little more open minded. :)

Anyway, the article posted is just an editorial. O'Reilly's job is to draw attention towards a certain issue. Sometimes some of the stuff he says is right on the money and sometimes it's "way out there". It's up to the person watching the show to make their own mind up. :D

    Have you seen Fahrenheit 9/11?

Anyway, there was a program on Fox news here in Sweden a couple of months ago, that showed the impact that Fox had on americans. For example, more than 60% of Fox viewers thought that WMD had been found in Iraq, this through deliberate misinterpretations of Fox network and even falsified information by their news anchors..

So, I surfed into their webpage to see if it was as bad as the program made it seem, and, yes it was..

I dont dismiss links cause they contain Foxnews, but I do understand why people would do it.

The above comment was made by a man who "is stupid, unrational animal incapable to thinking and swallows nearly anything without proofs." :p

Your comment reminds me of a saying - "Those of you who think you know everthing are annoying those of us who do."

I guess I hit right to the spot because getting attacked personally.

But of course no king want's to be reminded about his clothes.

Most commonly it's seen in people blowing up themselves but western countries have definitely had their share of those ones doing mass suicides or burning themselfs when some selfproclaimed prophet tells.
And this same shows in how ruling religions are allowed to interfere scienctific education.

The problem is on the flip side a hell of alot of people seem to think that WMD= must equal nuclear weapons on a fucking missle ready to launch.

Enough chemical precursers were found and decent enough labs, that should I have the same access to the materials and such I could manufacture more then enough nerv agent to devestate a medium sized country in about a year.

Nobody needs the amount of "highly concentrated pesticides" that was found lying around.

And E.T. you throw around trite statements and links to sources, some of which are just as dubious as those you attack, and parade that around as immense amounts of wisdom, hell look at the founding fathers thread and see how I managed to school your bombasity there :D

You need to relax and not be such a freaking martyr all the time :D
