A little issue... Again

I just got a copy of BloodRayne... and I tryed playing it and I get [URL=http://www3.sympatico.ca/cathy.chad.simmonds/Reaver4k/Images/Cries.jpg]This[/URL] error....

Is there away to fix it, with out getting a new video card.... I have also tryed installing Directx 9.. but it did not work.

    I think it's safe to assume you have hardware vertex processing (unless you're using a pre-geforce 256 era card). In which case, there's something screwy with your drivers, directx, windows, or multiple of the above. Have you tried getting the latest drivers for your card?

    On a similar note, Max Payne 2 tells me that I need a DirectX 9 compatible card in order to play it... I currently have 9.0c installed, and can play any Source game with no problem.

    And "compliancy" to some DX version is different from fact that does that card have features of that DX version!
    Remember that cards which doesn't have any of the new features of DX9 are advertised as DX9 "compliant".

    I'm feeling the loss of my GeForce 256... The TNT2 is fine for windows work, but I can see the difference game wise...

    Old games... heh heh
