    Netter has always been one of the producers for babylon 5, right?

    Besides, from my understanding the basic role of a producer is to give money and manage the back behind the scenes stuff.

    Yeah, but he was also the creator of Netter Digital. They did do nice work, but I still prefered the Foundation stuff.

    I can rest easy with him as a producer. He should stay out of the VFX though.

    The old rivalry between FI and NDEI is history, everyone has moved on...

    Does anyone remember the DVD commentary for "Falling Towards Apotheosis" where Jerry Doyle described the scene where Garibaldi's security team tries to subdue the Vorlon as being exactly like negotiating a salary increase with Doug Netter? With the lightning bolts and the high-pitched glass-shattering noise and everything.

    It's worth noting that he worked on SFX on those movies, not directing.

    hmm. Thought I made a post stating that, but I guess I didn't.

    However, that is still a very respectable task.

    His work so far would indicate that TMoS will be a *VERY* visually pleasing film. I'd suggest checking out 13 Ghosts for an example of what he can do for a film's style.

    He's one of the leaders of the fight to make sure the original cast is used for any parts that include the B5 characters (Sheridan, Delen, etc)
