Guild Wars monthly open beta weekend

Right, so the Guild Wars BWE will begin next weekend on 18th of February. It's open for those who have pre-ordered or gotten a key some other way (fileplanet last month, magazines etc.). If you don't have a key and want to try it out I got some spare keys.

    Well, the account is still there but there was a character wipe last beta because they added some new stuff and had to wipe the characters otherwise they would have been buggy.

    One of my character's name is Crystal Kitade, but I'm making a new character. I'm going to do some nice combo with a friend.

    I still got some keys left, if someones intereseted just post here.

    WOW.

    I haven't played since the E3 event, and so much has changed since then!

    I spent the entire weekend--6 pm on Friday until noon on Monday--in a friend's basement with him and another friend; I think we got in about thirty-six hours of play time, and it was worth every second. If you haven't given it a chance yet, I highly recommend getting a Friends Pass from someone for the next Beta.

    Didn't get very far, got my char to level 3 before the end.

    Is it going to be free or face a monthly charge. In its current state I think its ok but monthly charge FOGET IT!

    There will be NO monthly fee when the game is released.

    I played quite alot (about 50hours) and we even won 9 Guild vs Guild battles in a row with our guild.

    I might have 2 keys that'll work for the next beta...but I'll give them away closer to the next beta.

    At the end of the Beta, when they closed down everything but Lion's Arch District 2, my friends and I made $300 by begging as Female Elementalists. :p

    Hmmm, seems like they made the other districts invisible to the one you were in because I was in Lion's Arch dis 1 when it all ended, but I saw no other districts open either.

    Still begging for gold, isn't that a bit low?! :p I mean, you go solo through the Seaboard mission and you've gathered loot for about 100gold or in Divinity coast I found 3 rare items on one run, with luck you can sale those for some good gold.

    On an unrelated note, the name Darwi Odrade was taken AGAIN (and there will be no more character wipes, so I think I've lost her for good). I added the name to my Friends list and didn't see her online once, so I can only assume the perpetrator was motivated by pure spite. :mad:

    I went by either Darwii Odrade or Rabban Harkonnen. And I belong to the Fish Speaker guild. :D

    Riiiiight. I'm in the GWO guild....we don't really have set a final name for the guild..but the tag will be GWO.
