    Well I have to say that while I like the idea of giving a story a beginning (no idea if this one originally had one), I'm not sure it really fits in this particular story and it feels more like trying to fit in with a current trend.

    From what I've read on the subject, the movie is based upon a graphic novel written by someone famous that was good enough to be considered canon by most hardcore Batman fans; it looks pretty damned good to me, but movie trailers generally are better than the actual movies. ;)
