    damn, that blows. You know, despite the fact that EA and Dice were already creating Battlefield 2 (an Iraq/US war themed game) they did not order a cease and desist to the creators of the wildly famous Desert Combat mod for battlefield 1942. They hired them. And put them to work making their own game.

    Thats what I call talent recognition. too bad mgm didnt have the same idea.
