DS9 DVDs

Hey everyone!
Play.com currently has the DS9 Season boxsets for about 55€ a pice, and i'm thinking of getting it.
Wich seasons would you suggest? All, or just from Season 3 to the end?

    if u want more of the action the just go for S3-S7. ive got all the seasons, but i generally only watch from 3 onwards

    i'm weird, i only have S1 of DS9, and S1 of B5,

    I want to get all of B5, i'm dying to watch again, but i just can't bring myself to part with the cash for the rest of the sets at the moment.

    yeah i know the feeling. i really want to get S5 of B5, but im having trouble justifying spending the money, tho i seem to be spending it on other things no problem....:rolleyes:

    Ive been renting the DS9 DVD's via netflix, matter of fact I just finished season 5. Id reccomend just watching season 3 on. Unless you really like the mediocracy of the first couple of seasons where everybody struggled to find themselves and their character.

    Season 5 is good, it is the build up and start of the Dominion War and ends with them having to abondon the station to the combined cardassian/jem hadar task force.

    I also found Siskos speech before he left the Station very McArthur like. But then, I think thats what they were counting on it looking like.

    Although Im enjoying them, I will not buy them. Somehow I can commit to buying Babylon 5 & Stargate SG1 DVD's at $50-$80 a piece but I wont touch a Trek DVD for over $100.

    I would say definitely get s3-s7. If you can, get s1 as well to get the pilot. If you're feeling particularly rich, grab s2 as well, but you won't really be missing anything.

    hm.. well, the problem is, i do fell a bit rich.. (got a raise, and now have quite a bit more to spend ;) )

    well, i've started with ordering seasons 3 and 4, and i'll see where i'll go from there :)

    Netflix + DVD burner = Shhhhh :)

    i love netflix, but i'll NEVER do that with B5, i'm buying it. its just gonna take a while, cause like i said, i'm despirate for a car. and when i'm about to spend $10,000+ on a car, i can't afford the DVD's
