Running two sessions of Windows

Somebody I know wants to know if they can run two sessions of windows on the same machine he has two monitors connected to the machine. Actually thats not exactly right he wants one monitor with a certain desktop & alternate one on the other.

    No, you can't do it that way, but you can use vmware or virtualPC to run a virtual machine inside of windows.
  • Ok thanks. Will it put a heavy burden on the machine? Im not sure what hes running but just so I know.
  • Intel is bringing Vanderpool technology to their server and desktop processors within a year, which eliminates need to use additional software to run multiple OS's at the same time.

    Why would you want 2 windows? I think one windows is enough to mess up my computer. :p

    It can be done in linux, but not nativly in windows
