Firstly, I'm wayyy out of the loop, when the heck did Richard Briggs die?! Very sad news (albeit old for everyone else) indeed :(
Anyway, having read this,
The only thing I can say without equivocation is that when that day
comes, as the rights-holder, I will make darned sure that it's done
right, because I'd rather have no B5 movie than one that doesn't live
up to what fans and I myself would want to see.
To that end...I can wait.
Anyway, just thought you should know the story.

from this post really says to me that things will be handled right.. I guess I can only hope, especially as I'm in the UK, as from the sound of things, a letter from me wouldn't mean much :(

Not meaning to sound obnoxious, but everyone's been talking about that post already. Check the Firstones main page under "TMOS is Dead".
As for being in the UK, there's another item on the main page about JMS and Bruce Boxleitner (Sheridan in the UK!) are going to be intergviewed by a couple of people from Firstones. They spoke to JMS over here before when he dropped by at a convention. I don't know how they're planning to get hold of them, but they're asking for questions and I don't believe JMS would say that we Brits mean any less than other fans. Unfortunately there seems less impact from WB, have you seen the B5 Movies boxed set here in region 2 DVD? There's only Thirdspace, River of Souls and Call to Arms. They've left out the Gathering, In the Beginning and Legend of the Rangers (which I really want).

Avg. Rating: ( 9.55/10) [67 votes], "Top Underdog" even.
But on their main page (i.e. the developers' page), they have this forum linked to this specific thread.

Anyway, thanks for the extra info, I'll go check it out :)
No idea about the DVDs either :(
