it's interesting to hear his views, he's quite a conservative, definately interesting to listen to... it is odd though hearing Mr Garibaldi talk about politics..

Yes! Its the "The Jerry Doyle Show" running M - F 10pm to 1am and Sat 11pm to 2am

As Sirius' site describes: Jerry Doyle stimulates Saturday nights with a mix with politics, pop culture and current events. Call Jerry at 1.800.876.4123.

lol yeah listening to "Mr Garibaldi" talk politics is almost as fun as listening to Londo and G'Kar sing

If you have Sirius, and you like comedy talk, Check out The Radio Chick, she'll be on channel 148 starting January 10th, She's a friend of mine who's a former New York radio personality, the show's a blast, its her, a Comedian named Chuck Nice (from VH1's Best Week Ever) and her producer, the show's pretty irreverant,
  • XM Satellite Radio here...:)

    Huzzah to XM
Ethel, Fred, and Lucy all the way!
    (maybe some Mix)

i may get an Xm as well this summer, as MLB is on XM. and MLB can't give me a straight answer on if they will do gameday audio again this year... and the Xm monthly subscription isn't that much more than my mlb audio subscription was

I wish Sirius had gotten MLB, bc they basically have every other sport except Nascar (honestly, who cares?). So yea that pissed me off. Sirius is great though, I think youll be good wiht whatever you go with. Buy siruis though, I have stock in it :D

I already have Sirius, since The Radio Chick is a friend of mine, and her show is on Sirius. the lack of MLB and the lack of a portable reciever like the Xm MyFi is so far the only thing i dont like about it.

well that and they are a little disorganized,

but like i said, once you buy the equipment the monthly cost of Xm is almost the same as i was paying for my MLB Audio subcription.

I only wish Sirius had a larger playlist on their alternative music stations. it's damned weak compared to XM's selection. That and the price. I wish Sirius was just a tad cheaper, because then I'd consider getting it.

yeah i wish it was the same price as Xm, that $3/month would be nice.

See I think whats gunna happen is XM is gunna start charging a premium for stuff, while sirius wont.... Thats what I think will be the main difference in the future.
  • SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
XM Already does. They charge 1.99 for High Voltage, the Opie and Anthony channel, and 1.99 for the Playboy Radio channel. I imagine that neither will increase costs while the other is around, so as long as some competition exists, we're safe.

Ive got Sirius in my truck, its great, I like the NFL games when Im driving, better than scanning the AM stations for sure...

Correct me if Im wrong, but isnt Howard Stern moving to Sirius?
  • SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
He is, and it's going to be a huge boost to Sirius' loyal listener base.
  • RhettRhett (Not even a monkey)
Yep, its gunna be great. I just wish that I could transfer some of the XM content (MLB primarily) on to sirius :) but I dont think that is gunna happen :D Howard Stern will not be premium, so I think that the pay for premium content will end up being the primary difference between the two (and the different sports packages offered).

I wish i could bring MLB over to Sirius as well, I'm gonna have to break down and get Xm for mlb if MLB.com doesn't stream games this year.

Sirius just announced a portable Radio by Xact thats gonna be like the Xm MyFi, except its also an MP3 player, and uses CF cards that allow you to record content.

If you have sirius, Check out The Radio Chick, she starts monday from 10-2 on channel 147, she's a friend of mine, and is Funny as hell (imho) Listen for any mention of I Like Monkeys (thats me, lol)
  • RhettRhett (Not even a monkey)

I've got both XM and Sirius. Here's the breakdown:

    Sirius:
Truck (via Panasonic sat. tuner to the head unit)
Home (via Audiovox PNP2 unit to home receiver)

    XM:
Delphi SkyFi2 (mainly used in my room)
XM Online (when I'm at the office)
I also have a car kit and I can into my truck if I want XM. :-)

So, I personally own 2 Sirius tuners and 1 XM tuner. I originally got XM about 1.5 years ago and added Sirius shortly after that. Since then I've "hooked" every single family member of mine. Right now, I've got 6 XM radios under two accounts and 3 Sirius radios under one account.
