    Hah, the flying lawnmower is exactly was thinking of when I saw the name of the thread. I've seen one in person, its basicly an overpowered lifting body that uses the "handle" as part of its control surface. I think there are plans for one floating around the internet.

    I do like the flying tank, though (I can imagine what the Iraqi army troops would've thought if the U.S. Army had flown some larger versions over their heads during the air campaign of Operation Desert Storm :D )
