  Umm....what's so hard about hitting Printscreen? Every game I've played will save a screenshot when you hit Printscreen. If it doesn't write its own image, one will be stored in your clipboard, so all you have to do is just paste into Paint, Photoshop, or whatever it is you use.

  Printscreen won't work for games that don't explicitly handle it themselves, as it just takes a copy of the windows frame buffer, and that doesn't include hardware abstraction layer data.

  Actually, sometimes you can take a screenshot from games that don't handle it themselves. It just depends on how old it is.
