HL2 Warez monkeys owned. AGAIN.

Last week valve promised a "Surprise" along with the release of the SDK.

We now know what that surprise is.

inside a steam DLL (SteamUI.dll to be exact) that was updated last last week, a new text string has been found: "Half Life 2 Deathmatch" it wasn't there in unupdated versions, so this was added after the release of the game.

hmmmmmm...

So, we are finally getting HL2 DM! And the warez freaks can't play it.

Hehehehehehe!!!

    Sorry to burst your bubble A#, but I heard somewhere that modders had enabled HL2 DM. This was before HL2 DM was announced, so I was a bit confused - I didn't know there was a HL2 DM.

    If modders can do it, "warez monkeys" will eat it for breakfast.

    Well they updated steam and HLDM tongiht... Im really hoping we get some great new maps (and I cant wait for the day that I can play NS on HL2... that mod is awesome, seriously I would buy it as a stand alone game, no problem).

    Well, I was just informed by Bdog that my copy of the Collector's Edition of HL2 has been posted. :) I can expect the game on monday or tuesday, most probably. :) Yay!
