Pop in you ITB DVD. Go to "The War". Look at the battle with one Olympus agenst about twenty Minbari Warcrusers. That [i]has[/i] to be a warship, because of how one of them is worth twenty some Sharlins.

I wouldnt say one Olympus is WORTH 20 minbari sharlins, i mean the EA didnt have a chance of winning any battle..

1) Ran away with it's tale between it's legs two minutes into battle.
2)Blown up about two seconds [i]before[/i] Minbari ship jumps in
3)Rams Minbari ship and mysteriously becomes an Omega when viewed from the front.
And the three Olympuses?
1) and 2) Disappear mysteriously before battle begins.
3) Holds off twenty Minbari Warships for nearly a minute until being vaporized by the combined fire of a dozen warships.

That scene was meant to show human brvery and refusal to surrender, no matter the odds. Thats why they chose the olympus the smallest EA warship, it creates more dramatic effect, and sense of futility.

Nothing the EA had at the time could "hold off" a minbari ship for a minute, and if you are saying it takes 20 Minbari warships to destroy one olympus then why do the EA no longer have them (during the season anyway) when ONE Sharlin could easily take down an Omega, think about it [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/wink.gif[/img]

Simple.
The mesh (and therefore, the ship itself) wasn't built until just before season five. The Olympuses (Olympi?) in the Earth-Minbari War were there due to a time anomoly which was caused by an accedent involving a Microwave and non-dairy powdered creamer. This explanes the extreame duribity of the class as well as it's Romulanesque invisibility cloak.
