    FYI, those of you that saw the Season 8 episode that featured Teal'C in the "training device" had clips of the game [b]in action[/b].

    Hm. At the top, under news, there's what appears to be a new Point of Origin symbol. Being something of a point of origin junky (Official motto: It's better than stamps), I hope that the 'gates in the game might have unique "You Are Here" symbols.

    The footage in that episode wasn't in game. It was rendered using the same models they were developing for the game.

    Anyway, the screenshots look very good, lets hope they tell us more in 18 days time and the game turns out to be fun.

    if I understand it, the sg1 game is supposed to be in the battlefield style of games where it is a first person shooter with vehicles and such.

    I wanna be able to fire a missile through the Stargate, flip to the onboard camera and zero in on some poor unfortunate G'ould System Lord and blast his ass! :D

    Now that would be cool! :p

    Being able to fly a Death Glider would also be cool... 'may day may day, we are SO going down!' :D

    Imagine the multiplayer possiblities.

    Something like UT's Onslaught mode:

    It would be a Stargate team vs Jaffa (though in the interest of fun, I don't see why SG team vs SG team or Jaffa vs Jaffa couldn't work).

    There would be a number of planets that have to be captured before the Stargate to the enemy base (Earth and a Goa'uld planet) can be accessed.

    Activating a Stargate could take time, leaving the players vulnerable to attack while they wait for it to dial out.

    I don't know about this, maybe players can only respawn on their base planet. The idea is if one of their planets is under attack, the attacking forces would have to defend the Stargate from reinforcements coming through rather than commiting everyone to a full assault.

    You know, something was going on in that episode. It's like the writers suddenly came back in full force, armed with axes and not leaving until there was a pile of heads from the infamous "humorbeast" laying on the floor.

    Teal'c: The Replicators are no more evil than a virus.

    yeah that was a good episode! i do kinda wish that there were more eps with jonas/corin nemec. obviously its good having daniel back, but a little fresh blood now and then is a good thing to explore, even if it were only for another singel episode.

    I like the part where Teal'c and Jonas were eating Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and Jack tried to dig into Teal'c's tub. Teal'c yanked it away. The looks they gave each other were priceless; all while Jonas kept talking. :D

    I only had one problem with Jonas: He became the ubercharacter. Any time the SG-1 team needed an incredible ability, he was given it. I understand that he was special, that he was different and better, but come on! This guy was just plain nuts. I almost couldn't wait for him to become a jujitsu master

    But they made up for it by him getting smacked around early in the season. :D Carter damn near slapped the shit out of him in one ep.
