Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way

Yiks. My scars on my upper arms have been aching a lot lately.. in the past few days. Just looked at hte biggest one and it's got veins in it, looks like blood or something going there.

Sorta freaky looking things.

Wish it'd stop this damn itching. It's like they're on fire.

Stupid worms. :dead:

    Well.. I've had these scars for about 13 months now. Some longer, for about two years.

    Some are quite big now because I had a running gag of cutting them open every time they had started "healing".

    And I sort of scratch them at times.

    So... If this thing goes on for a while, reckon a dr should be good thing to see? I used duct-tape to fix them when I was cutting them.

    Good thing it's mostly the left arm. So wont affect my hobbies.

    Id see a Dr. and stop doing what your doing before your arm falls off.

    I'd be concerned enough to go to the doc. When you keep damaging a wound like that it bound to become infected, and I do know one of the symptoms of blood poison is the smaller vines and artiers start becoming visible.

    A "red line" from any limb leading towards the heart (ie. up the arm) is a sign of infection; seek medical attention.

    If your serious Refa you should grow up. You want pain try running for 3 hours or climbing a stair case for several floors at 6 mph. Or try having sex non stop for a full day. Give yourself a challenge not something that will not return any good.

    My scar aches every day, course its also about 18 inches long, runs from my elbow joint to mid palm in a lazy S incision, and one on the other side of my arm running 12 inches, and the puncture scars from 189 staples...

    It really bugged me about a year after the surgury as some feeling came back after allthe nerve damage, but most of it is still nerveless, which kinda sucks, cause i was cleaning an oven, and i smelled something burning, and it took about 30 seconds to realise it was ME....

    I figure none read as far as actually finding out that the cuts are almost all over 1 year old now.. and it's just there's some small blood lines in the biggest of the scars, going towards the middle of it or something as far as I know. And one end of it is "spreading" to the skin level.

    At the moment it's not itching or anything either.

    Masochism? nah. I dunno. I've found myself going towards sadism, but in the end, when it concerns humans I mostly dont feel anything.

    And when life fucks you up enough, you tend to do things to keep yourself together, things that "sane" might not be able to justify.

    I'm beyond that now.

    I would like to try the sex one, but alas, at the moment unable to. Mayhap in a while tho, when I get to meet my gf again.

    That actually happens to my big scar every once in a while, i haven't noticed any pattern as to when, but its usually when a low pressure system is passing through.

    go figure.

    Weird. Oh well. :)

    Sort of good that I'm not a sun-worshipper. Even though I wouldnt mind spending more time at the beach in Thailand next time. Then should've worked on my gut and man-breasts...

    It's not the scars I'm embarassed, it's those. :D
