    You know, I could never get into EVA. It had some really neat concepts, but some of the characters really annoyed me. I also didn't like the fact that they won, but they were all killed anyway. I never figured out why that was.

    I have not watched the Whole series yet. I herd that there are two endings to EVA. And another Serires as well.

    There are sort of two endings because there are sort of two stories being told at the same time. It's all rather complex. :)

    Technically, they weren't all killed in the end.

    As for the movie, well I'm sure the special effects will be very pretty. It won't be Eva though. There's no way they can get all that Eva says into one or even a lot of movies, especially not if they want to make them appeal to western audiences. In other words, it'll probably be closer to "DBZ with giant robots and even less story than normal DBZ" than Eva.

    LOL... You have not Spoiled anything;).... I DId watch Death and Rebirth(When Biggles said not to) before watching the Serires, Last time I do somthing Biggles tells me not to do.

    I've never heard anything about another series. I can't imagine there being one, either, given the very solid finality of the ending.

    You might be thinking of the digitally remastered version originally released on LD in Japan, and that is being released currently in the US.

    What was with the new ending released a couple of years ago? I had heard that they went back and redid the ending with a proper budget. Did they change anything or was it still the same ending with better animation?

    OK, here's what happened:

    The fans (in Japan) were not particularly happy with the original series ending. It ended the philosophical story (which was the main focus of the series by that point), but left all the real world stuff hanging completely. So, the director wrote a movie which ended the real world stuff and provided a more solid ending to the whole thing. He has also occasionally claimed that he planned it that way from the beginning. Whether he planned it or not, I'll leave up to you to decide. :) But either way, the movie ([i]The End of Evangelion[/i]) is very final.

    The movie being made in the west is a western remake. The original writer/director has nothing to do with it at all and Gainax is only involved in that they get some money out of it. Thus, expect it to be made to western values, particularly Hollywood values.

    We know how you would Punish them Refa:)... So to be more Humane I will put em into a Happy Camp, Where they will watch the three episodes of Teleitubbies over and over and over and over, You get the Drift
