Actually, if you're looking for Hicksville, then you better head towards Mississippi or Alabama. ;) We actually have electricity. :D

Or, he could always move to Hicksville, Long Island :D (Hey, mine's a real town. :D)
I'm in the western part of the state. I'm maybe half an hour from Memphis.
You know...
You'd think I'd look at peoples stats under their avatars ... :p
cool. The wife and I are looking at property (read acreage) to the North of you I guess...
@Biggles: You know I worry more about Californians these days than people from back East... ;)

You mean you've just now figured that out?;) :D (I was born and raised there, BTW.:alien: )
Lots of acreage for decent price, lots of woods, not too close to big towns but not too far away from them either...
Wonder what the locals will think of a couple from California?
:p
We want privacy and seclusion. California people are starting to get too familiar and nosey for our taste (at least in Madera County).
Hey Vertigo1, if we end up out there in the next few years, it would be nice to meet somewhere and have a beer or two... Or do you guys (and gals) only support the local Whiskey trade there? :D
(not that there's anything wrong with that... :p )
Jack Daniels's (Ol' #7 sour mash, Kentucky's finest) is still a favorite for me, even with the recent fad with Canadian Whiskey I have been entertaining for a few years now.
Getting back to California... This place (or State I should say) is getting really messed up... Just when you thought it couldn't get worse...
We're really just sick and tired of the BS out here...
As for privacy and seclusion...theres plenty of space out here for it. :) Especially in middle-TN.
