But maybe I'm just not a blog person :D
Well, I've got one, but...I always find it fdifficult to write about stuff. It's like...yeah. I'm not quite sure what it is that some people find really interesting about reading the "The life and times of xyz" But maybe I'm just not a blog person :D
Blogs aren't just people talking about their life. Mine is about the development of a game I'm working on :)
Well for the most part they're free & they are really useful for keeping track of yourself. Who knows somebody might even be interested in your life?
LOL Inerested in my boring life

I guess I should have been more specific in stating that I just don't understand personal diary blogs ;-)
I actually read a number of blog-ish pages on a regular basis, but for some reason, I unconciously lump them together as non-blogs :D

Other then "The Plan", I dont have an ego
The only blog I read is Wil Wheaton's 'cause he's actually funny. I don't care about reading the life and times of joe blogs over there, nor do I care for putting my life and times on the web for others to read.
I'm just going to assume that post was meant for another topic. :)
No, it wasn't. Just a bit of sophistry :)
Some like Blogs because they can say stuff which may get them shot in other forums/forms of expression.
They are also good for keeping everyone upto date, no need for the 'christmas e-mail' to all and sundry, that sort of jazz, also great for travel logs.
They are great written histories for you and other to re-visit, if someone drops out of your life and they ask the inevitable question, "So... what have you been upto?", you say, "Read this" and point them at a URL, and they actually get the whole story.
Some intensely private people find them to be a great release.
They are also a hard thing to start and a hard thing to stop.
I use my Livejournal regularly, and its probably the best because you do develop networks of 'LJ pals' which gives additional purpose to blogging, because you can swap notes, comment, join communties and stuff.
