    I have one left now... Chewy...

    He's 11 years old. When he goes, no more pets... Too hard when you lose them.

    in the past 9 years, I've had several pets...

    they are all dead now. and only a few I ever cound the corpse...

    it seems eels eat their dead. :eek:
    the rest, well, they were killed by the eels.

    what gets me, is there should have been one eel left, and it just compleatly disapeared from the tank. no corpse, no skeleton. Nothing. Just gone, overnight....

    As others have said, another one? :( That's too close together.

    I wouldn't stop getting new pets though. It is hard when you lose them, but you get so much good time with them before that.

    But remember it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all...

    You may not want a new dog now...but maybe in a few years give it a thought. There might be a dog out there in just as much need of a good friend as you :)
