I've finally gotten up off my fat lazy ass and picked up the Jeremiah Season 1 DVD set. At $99 CAN it wasn't exactly cheap, but I hardly blinked.

I'm about halfway through it... wow. Somebody peel me off the roof! Oh man, so long it's been since I've seen any [b]good[/b] sci-fi. JMS forever!

    I heard recently that whoever it is in the US has finally given in and is going to play the second half of season 2. I'm hoping this means we'll get DVDs soon.

    The first episode of Jerimiah came packaged with one of the Stargate seasons I purchased, I had not watched it because it didnt seem that interesting to me. But I finally sat down and did, now I think I might be at least renting these to catch them.

    Cool setup for a show.

    anyone else notice that his mother was Teryl Rothery (Dr. Fraiser from Stargate SG1), I got to meet her at the last milwaukee gen con. Very attrictive woman.

    JMS really shows what he's capable of in Jeremiah, especially in the final of season 1 and most of season 2. Mister Smith just plain rocks. Sean Astin also gets to show just how good an actor he is with that role.

    Oh well, at least I get to see it without commercials on my own time. But for $99... how about I consider that my donation to the Lets-show-tv-producer-morons-jms-is-worthwhile Foundation. Or I can think of this as another example of how I seem to be a living testament to Murphy's Law :mad:

    I have some issues with season 1, but season 2 is just top-notch.

    My issues with season 1 are only with the "keep the execs happy" episodes. I love the way all the rest is drawn together perfectly by the final episode.

    Anyone know if they are [i]ever[/i] going to release season 2 on DVD? Or should I just give up, download it, and burn that to DVD?

    Dunno....Not buying s1 on DVD until I know s2 is going to be available.
