    What a load of crap.

    Especially the bit about how planes always leave big chunks of wreckage. They don't. They're not actually made of very much at all. Quite often they leave very little identifiable wreckage.

    It also amazes me how many people seem to know exactly what a missile sounds like and to be able to tell them apart from a jet engine. This is what we call "taking quotes out of context."

    Case in point on the wreckage of a plane being minimal --> look at the 4th plane that crashed in a field in rural PA, very little wreckage is scene in most photos.

    Biggles, your right, how do untrained people think they know the difference, especially since a jet itself can sound very different when traveling at speed, depending on whether your in front of, or behind it.

    For a good example of what a plane looks like after flying into something at full speed, take a look at the photos on [url=http://library.christchurch.org.nz/Childrens/NZDisasters/Erebus.asp]this page[/url]. Notice how the only sizeable chunk left is a small part of the nose (something that could easily be hidden in all that pentagon wreckage). The rest is little scraps, because the larger pieces get ripped to shreds by the impact and burnt up in the resulting fire.

    that still doesnt explain why the FBI did such a comprehensive sweep of the camera tapes and such.

    I wouldn't be quite so suspicious if there were atleast some footage of the aircraft which better identified it before it went kerblooie into the Pentagon.

    What possible advantage could there be, security wise to confiscating the tapes etc ?

    So they can make sure they're getting the original footage and can then see exactly what happened?

    The pentagon is also a top military instalation, which means highly classified. Sure confiscating the impact tapes may be a little overzealous, but such is the nature of the FBI. WACO.

    Anyway, that little flash video lost my possibility of belief the instant it said "mind control machine".
