Also, the thing I *LOVE* about this board is that it is fully skinnable. I'll install various skin-packs in the future as to allow for the greatest freedom in that area, but boy, I love it.

I think the preview button is also a nice feature. I don't know how many times I have submitted something only to find the glaring error just after I click submit.
Having said that ...
I wish the forums were threaded. IMHO, the lack of threading is what leads to the death of the topics like the dynamic campaign and others. Once there are 5 conversations going on at the same time it just gets too hard to follow.
So, out of curiousity, is there a BB codebase that supports both linear and tree-style (threaded) topics at the same time? (i.e. some topics threaded, some not)

One of the nicer things: no "Clear Fields" button. I mean, really! Who has purpously clicked that? And who else has noticed that the only time it is clicked is when it is a big post that you spent much time working on?
Another thing: No image limit! I am no longer limited to 7 smileys! [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img]
Adding smileys and titles is also much easier.
Tip: To try out the newly installed themes (YAY!), log in, click on the "Your Control Panel" link at the top, select the "Account Options" tab, and change the skin from the drop-down menu.
The French Language interface is corrupt.

I know, Skins are all the rage now, and we can change the way it looks, yadda yadda yadda, I just don't like it personally.
But i don't think people are going to bail on Firstones just cause the forum is ugly.
Its up to the admins which software they wanna use. so whatever makes their lives easier...

Nowhere near the functionality of the Ikonboard (Which is also much faster than a UBB)

Ok. it "looks" a bit better with the "classic" skin, but is there anyway to change the background colour as well? our classic colours with a white background is headache inducing.

Ok, i've actually downloaded my own copy of ikonboard and have been playing with it, I'm liking it a bit more, I still think its ugly as sin, and the install procedure has to be one of the most disorganized pieces of dreck i've ever seen, But as for the actual board. It seems to be very not bad, The administration is very configureable, Looks like it should make life easier for the admins/moderators
