OK, the second test has finally been found.

go to the 6th picture u see the face of GMAN when u get pointer over the 6th picture of GMAN, click on it, u get the page that asks for a pass.

Username and password: nova/prospekt

in the space, type "Barnacle"

    it was the second test...


    the first one involved Valve counting on someone visiting their HQ, and taking a picture of a whiteboard. Which had a password on it, and someone else finding an encrypted file...

    someone put those two together (Don't know why...) And got a URL

    which was another puzzel...

    which led to a developer chat..

    so the general consenses is, test 2 isn't over.

    I think i read somewhere something like a 2,1GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, 2GB harddisk (could be more, i'm not sure), DX8 graphicscard...
    and a timemachine to get it ;)

    The minimum requirements will probably be quite lower, though.
    But then it'll look like Half-Life 1

    although I rmember hearing DX7 card and 1.0 ghz CPU were much better then that...

    yeah, but for the shader effects, you'll need something better than DX6 ;) (did you just edit your post from DX7 to 6?)
    oh, and i have to say, those specs i said aren't that high anymore, that was (except for the CPU.. 1,8Ghz) my System before i had to upgrade in the last months...
