It arrived!

BekennBekenn Sinclair's Duck
I'm currently using my new 23" Apple Cinema display! It looks nice and purty -- even though I'm using a PC.

There is one rather unfortunate aspect, though: it can't display the very low resolutions that PCs use at startup and for text mode. This means I can't navigate through the BIOS unless I switch monitors, or even see anything at all until Windows actually starts up. Also, some 4:3 resolutions are stretched across the entire display; 1600x1200 displays properly, but 1024x768 doesn't.

    A minor drawback. :)

Yeah, I figure I can snark someone else's monitor whenever I need to, say, install an operating system or mess around in the BIOS.

You'd think something that would cost that much would support lower resolutions like that. ;)

    You'd think.

I discovered earlier today while installing the new Catalyst drivers that it doesn't even support 640x480.
