Last i heard there was a target date of August or September. but that was months ago

I was just wondering if anyone had seen/heard/read/whatever anything regarding the release of DVDs recently.
I taped the whole series off of cable, and I have ITB on a bought tape, but I'm waiting for the inevitable DVD release, at which point I plan to buy the whole friggin' set. (Hey, I own the whole run of Monty Python, too!)
I have heard stories about one DVD having been released but I havent seen it yet. And I've heard other stories too, but since WB doesn't make any mention whatsoever on their site, and since I've been preoccupied with other things lately, I have to admit I have no clue where to even start looking. Except here, obviously!
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
"In the Beginning" and "The Gathering" are now available on DVD (on one double-sided DVD).
JMS has stated that Warner Brothers is in the middle of preparing the series for release on DVD, but nothing official has been announced yet.
The hope is that WB releases a box set for each season (a la X-Files), but so far there's no word.
You can order the ItB/Gathering DVD from Amazon.com. It should also be available in retail stores.

The first DVD was released a while ago, as Sam said. Apparently quite a few places actually sold out of it, but you should be able to find a copy somewhere.

Well we should get picture galleries and the usual stuff. There maybe a possibility that we will get the Bloopers as extras, that was mentioned last year, I think JMS hinted at it as on the list of things he's like to see on the dvd's. Other than that I haven't seen an confirmations of anything. Fingers crossed though that WB will do us a good deal and give us cool extras... I mean we've shown them how popular the show still is with the way the first dvd's sold! I'm delighted its sold out in some places, thats a very good sign... obviously not for those still trying to track a copy down though....

I've found that the DVD set is available on Amazon... none of my local stores have it. (I've asked if they could order it and they have in every case told me "oh, no, nothing like that has ever been released... I know because people keep asking about it!"

They have them in the DVD Sci Fi section, but they are stacked together in Alphabetical order so you have to sift through the "B" section to find them.
It was top shelf half way back the rack last time I looked.
