Mock American Political Election

Okay a quick off topic note. There is a large mock presidental election goin on at the above site. The Liberatarians are winning big. It is interesting to see how things can be different when people can vote without the pressure of going to one of the two major parties.

We should redo this and make a Earth Alliance election with a world map. That woud be cool.

    People can already vote without the pressure of going to one of the two established parties. Frankly, each and every independent candidate out there frightens me. Badly - far more so than Kerry and Edwards.

    I agree with you. I try to seriously look at the minors and this time around they all stink more than normal. Still its nice to see a different outcome in this mock election even it is not at all the way I like it. It makes me wonder if there are more Liberatarians on the web than others or if the Liberatarian party website is pushing this election.

    You know, I remember in 2000, NPR had a thing where they would interview a different third-party candidate every Tuesday morning. It was interesting to hear some of their views.

    On the other hand, I seriously wonder how the Pansexual Peace Party is still going on. But, hey, my own grandfather was a third party candidate for Vice President, so who am I to judge?
