Messiah, no offense, but it seems to me that your ideological nerve was struck a little too severely. Censorship? Censorship would mean removing the "offensive" link. In this case, a second link was provided for people who didn't want to see anything they might consider offensive, or for people who might get in trouble for viewing that sort of content.
What's the big deal? It's not like A# demanded the removal of the original link.
If it's okay for Mundane to post something that many could define as pr0n, then it's okay for A# to express his opinion in a civilized manner - like he did. Otherwise, we've got some severe double standard issues.

All right folks. Personally I am offended by the use of Washington Times. Washington Times is a religiously connected newspaper which is something I abhor. Newspapers should never be connected with religion since that skews their intent. Therefore I consider A2597's link a terrible substitute and demand that someone post a link to a standard news paper of this same content.

Alright first of all despite the fact that you people bitching the internet is global, its elements ARE NOT. As much as you may not believe this, the FO server is hosted inside the United States and falls jurisdiction to its laws, and yes that means any of you people start posting stuff that messes with the laws of the United States or the State of Texas here, poor striker has to answer to the law enforcement officals that are going to show up at his door with very unhappy looks.
Every server you access EXISTS SOMEWHERE IN THE PHYSICAL WORLD and the laws apply to that server. Get used to it.
Frankly Striker has a fairly strict no boobies policy and I understand why, because pr0n opens him up to a can of liability worms he doesnt want to deal with.
I guess what Im saying is while at FO.com or on other servers your temporarily where ever that server is located with, so keep that in mind and behave accordingly.
And on that note in the future we will be handing out guns at the door.
Tyvar has a very good point. Here in the U.S. it actually is illegal to view pornography via the 'net or host pornography on a server in five states (or in many of the counties/parishes and/or cities within those states). Moreover, ISPs in some of these areas may be required to report any violations of these "indecency" laws to the local authorities. The FO server may be exempt if it's in a major Texas city (ie: Houston or the Dallas- Ft. Worth metroplex) since it's usually the rural areas and the smaller towns that have these laws; nonetheless, Texas is very much "Bible Belt " territory, so it is a very wise idea to play it safe.

actually, the US Supreme court upheld the rights of the citizen to view porn, and for it to be hosted in the US. PROVIDED it isn't offered to those under 18. :)
I don't usually post since I have nothing of value or worth to add. I just had too say, can we all say together S.T.D.'s. Did anyone hear about this AIDS report this week from the UN? These losers on stage naked are just exhibitionist hiding behind a cause!!! Too draw attention in a positive way to a cause you have to be a roll model not a porno star. I guess if we all get AIDS and die then the trees will live! Is that the logic?
I can see why some people would object to having nudie pictures shoved in their faces (In front of family / at work), but since the title contained the word 'boobie', that should have been a hint eh?
What I object to is the strange ethics of some people / countries, I know I cant change it, but perhaps some will at least think about it.

You're talking about the state that closed down a comic book store over an issue of one particular comic that had adult content that was sold behind the counter not accessable to anyone but the person behind said counter! They nearly threw the guy in jail IIRC.

Define Standard News Paper... :p :D
That one variation amuses me far more than it should. As opposed to no pictures at all, they just censored it to such an extreme... :D

The "No Bewbies" condition is for files hosted on the server itself. No pornography of any sort is allowed on the server. Links, however, are fine.
