Sonata Arctica - Kikkelihevin Kuninkaat
Data Crystal
Pencil Artist
in Zocalo v2.0
As the band is currently putting together their finishing touches to the fourth studio album, I thought it only appropriate to promote them a bit.
Many of you will immediately recognise the band from the name, but at least an equal number of you probably has never even heard of 'em. This is an interesting thing that I've found way too often: despite the band's well-deserved, worldwide fanbase, they are also at the same time very unknown to a lot of people. This is a shame, because there is so much 'bad' music out there at the moment, and the name of the band doesn't stand out in any way particular. Just another metal band.
And yes, they are, just like every other. But the difference, the MAJOR difference, is that I like 'em. :D A lot. So, if I can reach a few new pebbles that enjoy the same kind of music I do, it's worth it. :p
So, if you know that you're not into death/black metal, and essentially too 'heavy' music, but enjoy good old rock'n'roll, faster metal with good words and a great pace as well as slow, touching ballads, be sure to keep the name in mind.
The next studio album will be called Reckoning Night, and it will be the next in line after the albums Silence, Ecliptica, and Winterheart's Guild.
To make this interesting in the least, I've put up a single piece of music for promotional purposes ONLY. So you can sue me if you like, but I'm just helping the guys out. As always, if you like the music, buy the album.
Most of you have P2P software installed, so some songs that I suggest you try out are

You could have wrote "The kings of hard-on heavy (metal)" (or "cock rock", "dick metal")...
haven't listened to them in a long time, hmm, might have to dig up their songs again...
