    You can, if you have the first Independence War. We have two full campaigns for that.

    i know and i have i-war 1 and have played all you missions and campaigns. the raider campaign is very good. hopefuly sometimes we can play the raidercampaign and others in i-war 2 [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

    Wow! Those shots are bloody excellent!! I'm very very impressed! Great work. I never played Iwar much but it always looked stunning, and the really physics side was always good too.

    I've just updated the starfury with the following changes.

    It's been resized to be the same scale as all the rest and i have also added the gass effect to the engines as can be seen in tne image above.

    The engine and thruster effects could still do with some changes but i off tommorow for a week or so, so decied to get it done quickly so you're quite welcome to make it look better if you want.

    I have also remodeled the Victory class ship from scratch and it looks a hell of a lot better than it did.

    I have also come up with an idea for doing the main weapon which i will try when i get back (as well as make another Thunderbolt with different textures as mentioned before and try and sort out adding a Thunderbolt turret fighter (or two) to the Omega with the help of Dragon Heart).

    Anyway, heres some images of it.

    One question: Why do space sims still insist on using sprites? If B5:ITF was going to have zero sprites 3 years ago, why do games today still use them? WHY?

    B5:ITF did everything with 3D models, including explosions. The explosions looked incredible, they were real balls of plasma and fire. And here we are, 3 years later, with I-War2, the best in the genre, using nice big sprites for it's explosions.

    Well, what ever works and looms good. The first I-War had polygonal explosions, but they wanted to make them look more spetacilular. I may not colpletely agree with Particle Systems decision, but its their game and it doesn't look bad.
