    Ok, if they are fighting whil "surfing" on lava platforms, that is going to be really lame. Just another excuse for special effects, just like the last two movies.

    I'd heard it was Birth Of [i]An[/i] Empire. Call me picky, but I prefer that name. Less pretentious. But either is better than some titles I could name ;)

    It makes sense either way. The Empire is an entity we all know already and which just simply is for the minds of all the fans so 'the empire' is justified. But after thinking it over, Birth Of [i]An[/i] Empire would sound hell of a lot better. 'twould imply that the SW universe isn't the only one and just a legend from a long time ago in a Galaxy, far, far away.... ;) As it should be.

    What I want to know is whats taken so long?! Its been 3yrs? since the last one, not that I was overly thrilled with the later SW. Part from the special effects.

    Funny, but completely wrong about everything but firing Lucas. Christiansen can act... we've seen it before. But when you're comparing the love of your life to sand... :rolleyes:

    And Portman not playing royalty well? Wrong.

    Christopher Lee being the single coolest person to ever wear a robe and flash a shiny stick around is true. I think Samuel L. Jackson is badass, but Lee is just goddamn stylish beyond belief...

    Episode II whatever it is worth was [I]much[/I] better than Epiosde I, I expect that the same will hold true going from Episode II to Episode III...

    However Episode V + VI will always be my favs... can't wait for the DVDs

    i think Ep III will be the best of them, simply because this is the one where the shit hits the fan.

    while i admit that im a diehard fan, i do agree that Lucas has got to be really careful here or else he is gonna kill SW completely.

    Sorry Exile, but Christiansen is about as scary as Buggs Bunny. he just doesnt have the screen presence if darth vader, and i know part of that was due to the suit and the great voice of james earl jones, but when i try to picture Christiansen in the suit, all i see is vader off standing in a corner sulking and stamping his feet. :rolleyes:

    Where have we seen him act? I've not seen him in anything but Star Wars and he's absolutely awful.

    Episode II was dreadful, but not as bad as Episode I. Maybe Episode III will be 'Ok'.

    ive seen him in a couple other movies, but hes just as whiney and annoying in those too, cant remember the name, not all that good a movie anyway.

    no, he cant act. and i hate him as annikan. I dont think anyone ever pictured annikan as a distressed whiney teenager that crys about everything and whines like a 4 year old.

    Distressed teenager maybe, but not distressed whiney. I know Im not lucas, and its his story, but its obvious hes not making these movies to tell the story, he is making the movies to make more moeny. Its like the whole pod racing sequence in the first movie, that wasnt a story progression part of the movie, that was a marketting ploy. That was a hey look at my special effects, and oh yeah, buy the game too. kind of like *caugh* quiddich *caugh*. All in all, quite lame. I dont expect anything superspectacular in the next movie either. The "surfing the lava fight" just sounds dumb. We knew they fight at a volcano and thats how annikan becomes vader, but I just dont want to watch Ewan McGreggor surf lava ok, it just sounds dumb. Its a damn shame too, because I really like Ewan McGreggor, I think hes a great actor.

    In all fairness, the pod racer game is actually damn fun. Also, quiddich was more prominant in the books and it was put there as part of the story, not as a marketing ploy.

    I like Ewan aswell, but that english accent drives me crazy.
