    It's from a post made by someone going by the alias "the_exile" on a BBS at approximately 7:18 AM (GMT+12) on 30/04/2004.

    People here are from all over the globe so IMO you should just put it in GMT. (which "lags" three hours behind my clock)

    I found that, but I figured it was just a song quoting something else... Seemed rather odd that a character in a book set more than 1000 years in the future (a future where almost all of the past has been lost or erased, no less) would make an allusion to a Canadian singer by the name of Jack Callous... ;)
