Random Chaos
Actually Carefully-selected Order in disguise
in Zocalo v2.0
Recorded over the last week. This is time weighted so people who talk too far back are forgotten.

Where is Simmonds, anyway?
I would say something terribly witty and clever, if I didn't have a migraine and an essay.

Right here.
It's a neat idea. How does the calculation work? Vectors in a matrix based on proximity or timing of a person's lines in the channel? Does location of dots mean anything, or did you move them to best show the lines?

Good.
It analyzes who people talk to most in a method that looks at proximity. You can tell it to ignore uses, though the program doesn't have a long memory - within a couple hours it starts recording for that user again - however all data on that user will have been reset to zero.
As for the graphic, that is generated automatically - no user input. The dots are linked. The width of the line indicates the strength of the link. Then they are "repelled" from each other by the program. The strength of the links counteracts the repulsion, resulting in the final graph. I don't know how exactly it does this as I am not the programmer :)
