Beyond Good &Evil

RubberEagleRubberEagle What's a rubber eagle used for, anyway?
I just love this game! It's one of the rare occasions where everything clicks into place: The controls are spot-on, the graphics are gorgeous (nothing really extraordinary, but they are beautiful), the voice-acting is great, the story is exciting, and the gameplay is fun.
It's the closest thing you'll get today to the great Adventures of the past.
I really can whole-heartly recommend this game. get it, you won't regret it!

The Music! I forgot to mention the music! I just LOVE the music.

I have heard oodles of good stuff about this game and nothing bad. The only reason I haven't picked it up yet is because I still have too many other games on my to-play list.

    I ditto that Biggles.
I got another one on my list - Broken sword, sleeping dragon. Played demo which came with mag. Was really immersive, like a movie with alot of thinking involved.
Beyond good and evil looks good too. I got demo of that , not playable though but not actually checked that one out yet. :)

Have you played the first two Broken Sword games (The Shadow of the Templars and The Smoking Mirror)? You really should, since the third game builds on them a lot, plus the first one is absolutely amazing. It uses the extremely interesting and true history of the Knights Templar to create some amazing mystery and intrigue.

Oh no I haven't! Assumed actually that Sleeping dragon was the 2nd. B/F's got the 1st on Playstation I think.
But with the 1st are the graphics good? :)
With the demo....the camera angle thing never swings round, I don't know if this is just cos they only let you play so much of the demo or not. Plus the buttons to press to go up, down etc were always appearing. Think this would get on me nerves abit after awhile cos I ended up looking at them instead of learning the moves on my own.
    :)

The first two are both 2D adventure games, the way they should be. :)

Think I got a bit used to 3D! :) Still 2D's good too just wondered with the effects and all, if they looked realistic or not. But am sure they probably do.
