As Sanfam knows I go to RIT in Rochester, NY as well... I never quite got why people say there is nothing to do. I will say this is no Times Square but Rochester is a host to many social activities.
Park Ave. - bars/restaurants/coffee shops...
Monroe Ave. - same as above
Frontier Field/Blue Cross Arena - sports (baseball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse)
Marketplace Mall / Greece Ridge Center / Eastview Mall - shopping by the boat load
Hylan Dr. - close to RIT, MANY restaurants/retail stores
GEVA Theatre - great live plays/musicals
Rochester Auditorium / Eastman Theatre - music, concerts...
DINOSAUR BBQ - BEST BBQ RESTAURANT EVER
Many parks (Genesee / Mendon / Eastman )
Milennium games -> card/role playing game HQ (if you go for that stuff)
need I go on...?
SO you see Rochester isnt such a bad place to live, EXPECT THE WEATHER, dont nag about it... if you want "warm" weather go to arizona or florida..
there ive said my bit :)
The main problem I'm having now is a lack of transport. heh. I've sworn off the busses, after my last few attempts to become more friendly with RTS (Being abandoned at the mall, being abandoned in town, being stranded in the city). Once the car is repaired, I'll have less to complain about. But, it's still boring :D
You can only do so much shopping, and parks are boring. Plus, I hate coffee, and don't drink, and don't watch sports that aren't fueled by alcohol or petrol products :D (Though the rally club is in motion now, and that'll provide endless hours of amusement)
Well, now when it came to sauna:
I wonder on what position I've been sleeping last night. (half of my weight above shoulder maybe?)
My left shoulder (muscle that rises whole hand, more exactly) has been aching whole day when I'll try to move hand to certain position.
At least quarter hour in 95 degree of celsius sauna helped nicely.

Really? D'you live in a city? That would explain why perhaps you haven't seen one. Had an Ex from Scotland and he'd seen at least 2! Mind you he lived in Glasgow lol.

Well yeah thats true! I swear I'm not?!?! ;) But you know there's stranger than strange....
I wonder if I'm a vampire. Because I like the smell and taste of blood. And because I feel sick out in the sunlight as well as in churches.
Lol! I hope you meant your own blood!
Perhaps the sunlight is infact a UV sensitivity which is possible but rare.
Churches do always have a funny smell perhaps you're sensitive to that too.
However if you state you sleep in a coffin then I will think otherwise.

Haha you mean nerd?! Nah not really! Him and his family/friends used to stragaze alot. He's in a band actually called CEIV which means "Close encounters of the 4th kind. They all believe in UFO's like me. Well 80% of me does. I thought I saw one when I was 6. It certainly was unexplainable! :)
Anyway I met him at UFO conventions hehe. Bet you wish you'd never asked now. ;) They have a website too.
