• I knew they'd do it...

And am I alone (not counting the 20 million screaming adolescent girls who would never have noticed him if he wasn't voted Sexiest Man Alive) in thinking that Johnny Depp is actually a pretty good actor?

If I recall correctly, he was in Chocolat and pretty damn good in that.
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Yes. He is a very good actor.
• My sister owns Pirates, and watches it about six times an hour, so she finally got me to watch it, and I was really impressed with his performance. And Edward Scissorhands was really good, as well.

I've seen Pirates of C... once. It was good and humorous, but not a movie I would want to see more then once in a great while.
• C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
Bah! Pirates of Caribbean should have won for best music (score).

Um...why? Compared to LOTR that music sucked. It was good music, but the competition WAY outdid it.
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
Got to agree with RC. The PofC music was good, but the LotR music is perfect.
• Indeed. You deserve to be punted into the west for that outlandish comment.

hehehe bad joke hehehe
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
I agree with R.C. on this one (and only this one)..!
• C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
The fun thing is that right after I had seen PofC and got home I had to download some of the soundtrack tracks, and a few days later I bought the CD. With LotR, well I don't own one of the soundtracks. I desided not to buy them after I had listened to them at a friends.

I feel so sad for Bill Murray...

I didn't like his acting at all in POTC. I know he was supposed to act like that, but for me it didn't play off. Great film though but Depp just annoyed me and normally I like his acting.
Edward Scissorhands was good! There's so many films he's been in. Can't remember them all now, not without looking them up!

Anyone see him in Jack the ripper? I not got round to seeing this one yet. :)
• MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
You mean From Hel? Great film.

yeah, i was quite looking forward to his acceptance speech. i reckon it would have been great!:D

normally i dont go in for films like Lost in Translation, but i do actually quite want to see it, mainly because its Bill Murray and i think hes great
• IMO, Hans Zimmer should have won Best Score for the music he did for The Last Samurai. (Got it on CD already.)

But hey, nothing can stand before The Return of the King! :D

Morden
