MessiahMessiah Failed Experiment
Saw the first two episodes today, and thought it was pretty good, at least the second one. So without giving any spoilers, should I get the rest?

  • Yes!! I've been following the series ever since it was launched and I can say, it's really good.
I've seen both seasons and both are great.
Sean Astin, who is among the starring roles in season 2, is a good actor and his character is really funny.
There hasn't been a new epsiode for weeks now, dunno if it's just a break or if the season is over, I can't access Showtime's forum/site, says I need to be a US resident or something, so I don't really know what's up.
I strongly recommend the series, you should get the rest of the episodes asap :D

Sean Astin A.K.A Sam the hobbit?
  • Indeed it is.
In LOTR he was good, but he's even better here, that guy can act.

    Kewlness. :)

I really highly recommend getting the rest. The first season is a little slow in places (it is a 1st season), but in general it's very very good with lots of interesting plot movements. The 2nd season is amazingly good.
    And Sean Astin rocks.

The 2nd season ended at episode 15, as did jms' involvement in the project.

Any word on whether the show will go on? Granted, it won't be the same without JMS, but I'm curious to see what will happen with others in charge. Y'know, morbid curiosity.
  • The entire 2nd season has not been shown in the US yet. Showtime stopped back in November, calling it the end of the 2nd season. What a joke.....I'd cancel Showtime if it would not cost me to do so.....Its weird that my cable company makes me carry showtime as a premium channel, if I cancel them, my rates go up....

Showtime can go frell off till the end of time. Along with FOX, just got done watching the last Firefly episode from NetFlix....Now that was a good show!!!!!!!
    I was quite impressed!!!

It hasn't? Bizarre. Perhaps they didn't like what jms did in it.
  • Nope, still 8 episodes to go.....

Showtime is going to try and pawn it off as a third season....

I think that they are doing this because of JMS getting out of it, cause what I have seen of Season 2 kicks major ass, and from what spoilers that I have read from the net, the missing 8 episodes are even better.....

But, theres no telling when showtime is going to show them here...

    Bastards!!!!

The remaining 8 episodes are absolutely great. Buried in there somewhere (I won't say where) is one of the greatest plot twists I have ever seen, I really didn't see it coming and it was a huge shock when it did.

Erm... so far as I know, they've all shown in the US.

'Course, I got the eps via other means, but they certainly seemed to be recorded from Showtime.
  • I saw the first 5 or so eps of Jeremiah, Then they took it off the air(FUCKERS)

Any "official" reason to why he's not involved in it anymore?
Sorry, I don't really know where to read about these things.

He said the MGM execs were the worst he had ever worked with.
