X-box game to get next?!

OK well I decided to get an X-box game when I finished Buffy 2. But I don't know what to get. There's nothing for me at the mo that stands out. Am looking to get Halo 2, possibly Deus Ex - Invisible war. The BC game not out yet. Oh and I know there's a Xfiles one, not sure when.

Games I've played so far so you might get an idea of what I might like are:

Buffy1
Halo
Minority report
BloodRayne (vampire)
Indiana Jones

I also got Crimson sea which so far seems pretty bad and very shakey movement. (no its not me!) ;)
So will probably take this back.

I like action/shoot 'em up games but with thinking involved too. Alien/Vampire/Spacey/Futuristic settings.

    I would say get Xenosaga... but you have the silly system, not one of the sensible ones. :)

    If you like Star Wars, get Knights of the Old Republic.

    Also, the new X-Files game is coming out on ps2 and X-Box next month.

    Going a little off track from that, there is XIII, which is a fps using cartoon style graphics. Its about a conspiracy and the assassination of the US President.

    Check the [URL=http://www.game.uk.com]Game[/URL] website every day, they have Deals of the day, most of which are boring games but they do have some good offers too (such as XIII for £13...on the 13th) I once saw them selling GBASPs for £30 but they had sold out by the time I saw.

    Depends on exactly what you're looking for in a game, I guess. :) Personally, I like a lot of story.

    Yea, Star Wars: KotOR is nice, so is XIII.
    Too bad you dont like sports, cause Top Spin on Xbox is the best tennis game I've ever played.

    I would have to agree with the others. SW:Knights of the Old Republic is a superb game.

    I will when I finally get it. And Xenosaga sounds like a good game... I might go for it, even if I don't play much PS2.

    well, that's my point, the story was EXCELLENT, the characters were good, the voice acting was amazing (I was suprised when I finally recognized Shion's voiceas Melfina from Outlaw Star), and the production values were great.

    but the parts BETWEEN the story just seemed like an absolute chore. Seriously, the game's M:TG-esque cardgame and Virtual-On AWGS sim minigames were more fun than the real gameplay.

    I don't know, I find them quite entertaining. They always have a purpose, there's no "go explore at random until you accidentally set off this hidden trigger we've put in to continue the story" like what's found in many other console RPGs (FF8 in particular comes to mind here). They are better done than the equivalent bits in FFX, where you basically have chunk of story followed by "run along this road defeating random encounters for a bit". I will admit that they could be a bit more exciting though.

    I have wondered about SW before but cos I wasn't keen on the latest movies unlike the old one back in the 80's I wasn't sure. But I'll certainly have a look now.

    I got the demo of Prince of Persia which looked good til I tried it. I don't know if its like it all the time but whenever you fight anybody it feels like you're not really doing it cos the cameras all over the place and its like you only press one button and you end up doing like 5moves in one! - very annoying.

    Btw anyone know where I can get Godzilla on Xbox? I've been looking around firstly in shops who don't have it. Yet the UK mag says its in the shops to which I was told by the staff in shop that the mag normally prints things wrong (very bad). Tried websites which do have it but they don't state which region it is. So I could go and buy it and it will be NTSC which I don't want.
    I know Godzillas got alot of bad reviews in UK but I want it cos I've always been a fan. So if you have any ideas on that one, that would be great! :)

    Knights of the Old Republic is Star Wars but its also new, in the best possible way. It definately beats the prequel trilogy in terms of story, characters etc.

    Buy a PS2 and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. That game is so frackity fun, despite being a platformer, I've beat it about 8 times now.

    I wouldn't say the hardware is terrible. The emotion engine is a pretty damn powerful chipset. Now the PS1, that had terrible hardware. :)

    Thanks for links again. :) Tried both your recommendations but to no avail. Both didn't have it at all.

    Been looking at SW. Good deals on Amazon. £18 - £20 for used. Cept the £18 didn't have the booklet. Or £23 brand new!

    Just in general. I've heard too many people wanting the PS2 over GC or Xbox just because they think PS2 got better graphics. :/

    In the case of some games, they are right. How good the graphics in a game are is largely dependant on the developer of the game, not the console.

    I ditto that in most cases. Nomad Soul on PC was excellent graphics.
