Starcraft, if you play terran and build the siege tank and click on it often enough it eventually will spit out that quote.. Although I think it may have also been in apocolypse now, or some other war movie.

Right, I know these... and I'm damn glad that at least these don't bite or sting.
There's as much of these as mosquitos in here... not that I would have tried counting them.
From this description I'm pretty sure that midge is that insect which is called as "surviainen" in finnish.

That's because they "dance" around everything that is higher than surrounding area... including moving objects like peoples.

They are the only thing I kill. I dont kill mosquitoes, go out of my way to not step on ants etc. Ticks, I hate.

And the worst thing about ticks...Lyme Disease. I always worry about going outside due to the fact that I always catch some five or six ticks (both deer and dog) crawling on or under my clothes. Annoying little bastards, and dangerous, too...

Yep, they carry a lot of evil stuff the little buggers.
People who chew gum with their mouths wide open and you can hear them chewing about two blocks away.
Neds with crappy little scrap value hatchback cars that think they are Michael Schumacher
