It's just because orbital planes of moon and earth aren't in same plane.
Same reason what causes rarity of venus transits.
(so I guess that next cloudy day will be eight of June)

I wouldn't otherwise mind those wrong number callers, but when it's shameless early on morning!:angryv:

Also this day seems to be coming damn hot. Already twenty celsius at nine am.

    26 in shadow!
Could someone please turn that heater to smaller setting?
(or adjust it so that it heats only lakes)

I wonder if you Finnish guys would melt into little puddles of vodka and then evaporate if you ever came here in summer and had to try and live through one of our 45C stinkers.... heh.... its often 32C at night... :D

Have you been in sauna? Even in 60 celsius sauna? What about 80? Or 100? :D
  • C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
And it's not actually that hot here. it's just that we had -10C not long ago, so it takes some time to get used to this weather.

But I still like cloudy weather. :)

I don't do stuff like that, I mean studying. Way too boring.

    Cloudy days are peacefull days.

No, no, rainy days are boring.

Cloudy days are good because it's not so hot then. (and especially if those are Cumulonimbus clouds :D )
  • C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
Exactly! Although I like rainy days sometimes.

Unless, of course, it's cloudy because it's about to rain, then it becomes sweltering. "It's not the heat, it's the humidity."

Let's see will relative humidity rise to 90% also on this summer.
(it's "nice" when temperature is over 30 in shadow with nearly 90% humidity, like in last July's last two weeks)

Ahh, it's nice to go to sauna to after full day in hot tractor with lot of dust. (although sauna was only 80 celsius today, maybe I should warm it next time)

Is it really that weird to inform your tennis partner during gym class that "the enemy's gate is down"?

    +2 celsius with rain.
Little more northern wind and it starts snowing.
  • C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
WEll, a little cloudy and rainy, about +13C. No need to worry about snow. :)
  • E.TE.T Quote-o-matic
