Venus wouldn't be good.
Atmosphere's density is so great that it refracts light so effectively that every part of sky is equally bright.
Pluto would be best place, looking from there sun would look like bright star.

Think I've only seen 2 moon eclipses in my life. One where the moon was red which was very nice and other where there was a shadow which didn't cover all of the moon. Actually why are they different like this? I know one is to do with the shadow of the Earth.
