    I'm doing pretty well. Thanks for asking. :)

    I do miss my dad, but I'm past the grieving stage for the most part. The guy who killed him has his first court hearing on or near March 1st. This hearing is basically to determine if there's enough evidence against him to warrant a trial -- there's no doubt about that, so it should be pretty quick.


    Though things have been really strange lately.

    My girlfiriend has had a lot of crap thrown at her lately...we've both had a pretty stressful time since we started dating in August:

    - Her parents got divorced last year
    - Her dog died in August, then her family dog died a couple of weeks later
    - Her grandfather died on the day of my dad's funeral
    - Someone broke into her sister's apartment and raped her

    All of this happened within a span of about 8 months.

    But, all things considered, we're both pretty happy.

    Despite all of that, things could be worse.

    That is some nasty stuff. But, like you said, things could be worse. At least you have each other to lean on.

    :eek: god damn thats some horrible stuff. I hope things turn around soon, and also that the police catch the fiend, and shelve him for a long, long time.

    And good luck to you on helping her through these times, its hard work, but the rewards of helping people through trials are almost always worth the effort.
