Angel Cancelled

WORFWORF The Burninator
The Buffy spin-off series has been cancelled. Unlike other shows to be cancelled recently, they have been given the chance to finish off the rest of the season and tie up any loose ends.

care factor for Spinoff for Buffy.... even less...:)

have to say im rather apathetic about this news as well
• Damn, this sucks! Angel = 1 hour per week where I can be alone, while my family watches TV. :(

I may not care for Angel, but it was one of the better written shows to come out of America in recent years. No doubt it will be replaced by some reality show, or a sitcom.
• I don't give a crap about Angel being cancelled, but Dark Angel being cancelled? That's another story altogether...

Well, we have Battlestar Galactica now so it will fill in any lack of Sci-Fi. :)

Buffy rocked. :robot:

To bad I can't see Angel here where I live. :(
Oh well, everything can't last forever.
• Buffy before they graduated highschool = rocked!
afterwards, it stank.

Angel, has really been good, and quite creative at times as well....not saying I'll miss it greatly, but...oh well. :(

On ABC there is the new show Line of Fire ... apparently they ordered 9 episodes. I was looking for more news I see that the rating werent the best so they think it won't be coming back... :(
I NEVER watch primetime TV but this show got my attention and I loved it!!! Why do all the shows I like get canceled or are always on the brink of being canceled
Ohhh I KNOW:
1. I don't like "reality shows"
2. I don't need TV to get my share of boobs
...maybe I should get into the show 24 I hear that is good

WHY? WHY? WHY?! :(
What the hell are WB doing? Friends and Frasier are ending (never watch anyway) and oh what? why lets cancel Angel while we're at it??! They've just added James Marsters and were going to have other actors from Buffy in it from time to time. So I can't understand why?! Angel from what I understand had so many more opportunities rising.

I'll admit I've never been able to get into Angel and I was going to give it another go and watch from the latest series to try and understand most of it. Plus James is a great actor and nice bloke. So I feel sorry for him too and the rest of the cast and Joss - poor guy. :( This was like another beginning.

I can only pray that there may be a Faith spin-off. As I think she rocks.

Quite depressed now. :(

They didn't hire anyone from Fox recently, did they?
• SanfamSanfam I like clocks.
I don't think networks hire people. Rather, they contract them. And by contract, I don't mean by signing one. Contract, as in, get infected by :D
• if it wern't for smallville, enterprise, and stargate, I wouldn't even watch TV.

as is, I watch those, and occationally others. (Like Angel..and....ummm....well, the news....but I usually get that via online/radio. sooo).

sheesh. Stargates allready canned after season 8, the spinoff is going to suck, and hopefully die within 2 episodes. Enterprise will die soon. Leaving me with just smallville. *Sigh*

I'm getting POed at the networks. ALL of them. It's a PROVEN FACT. sex does NOT sell, it kills ratings. yet they keep pinping it on every single freaking show. WHY WHY WHY. GAH.

I have a good mind to cancel cable. I know once I move out, I won't even buy a TV. I'll just download my single smallville episode a week and be happy.

bastereds....all.

the ONLY reason(s) I have DirecTV is:
1. it costs $20 less a month than cable
2. i watch History/History Int'l/and the bunch of Discovery channels/ ohh!! and the new NFL Network
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
I don't plan on getting a TV when I move out. I know my friend in the UK hasn't bothered getting one. A computer does just as well for playing DVDs, and that's all I need. :)

That's almost exactly what my mate did as well, when I he moved into his own flat. He doesn't pay his TV license for the terrestrial channels, and just has a DVD player for entertainment. :)

The main reason for my friend not getting a TV was the high cost of a license for something he wouldn't actually use (ie broadcast channels). :)
• Yeah, that's it. My mate thinks that most of what's shown is rubbish, anyway. ;)

• Unfortunately, I need a TV, because the C64 monitor I've been playing PS2 on for so many years has died... and our current TV is blurry as shit, though my parents don't notice because their eyesight is too. :(

Leadtek Winfast TV 2000XP. Problem solved.
• 17" monitor. Problem unsolved.

(Even though the C64 is 15" ;))

[Edit]What if I put the PS2 drive in the PC? I've already taken it apart numerous times. :D

Well you're going from a 15" to a 17" then. What's the problem? :)

Yeah, but even that isn't as good as it used to be. I think they started running out of ideas after the 2nd series.

The problem... is 17". Going for a 2X" minimum. :)

Do you mean the British or American version? (Junkyard Wars.)

As for the series getting worse, I disagree. There was a FANTASTIC episode just before Christmas where two teams had to build TANKS, fit them with a pneumatic potato-cannon, and traverse an army testing range firing at targets! :D
