"Infoworld is reporting another new security hole that allows links to executable files to appear to be any other type of file, such as text or pdf. When combined with a previously reported spoofing bug, that Microsoft still hasn't fixed, Infoworld claims the result could be 'devastating'"

Show of hands here....how many are really suprised? With shit like this happening, its a small wonder why people continue to use Idiot Exploiter...

And still huge majority of people use it and many praise it and bash Netscape and other browsers.

• firebird here, thanks to Biggles helping me configure it.

and thunderbird user as well...though even with numerous filters, no spam has yet been caught.

My filters seem to have healed a little, but they still let a few through. Better than no filters though. :)

Yeah, especially when Internet Exposed is very stiff to use.
This whole Windows+IE combnations must have more holes than sieve.

That would be news if there would be one month when there wouldn't be found any new security holes.

I use Firebird too, but what is there to configure? It's worked quite well for me out of the box, I just installed a few extensions to enhance its functionality.

• I hate menus. didn't relize it was customizable.

for me, Buttons = faster = better. Only time I have to access the menus now is when I was to save the page to disc. otherwise, complete functionality (Bookmarks, history, print, etc are all buttons, which out of the box they arn't)

A%: Shift-Click = Save to disk

:)

Learn keyboard combos and you never touch the menus :D
• who needs shift click? Just relized it's in the normal right click menu. LOL

so I never need to use the menus now! hehehehehe

One healed patient more! :D
Yep, after using better browser it feels like torture to use Internet Exposed.
• I haven't noticed that much of a difference really, other then no popups. (Unless it's a popup that summons a whole new page...which is annoying)
• BigglesBiggles <font color=#AAFFAA>The Man Without a Face</font>
Yay for tab browser extensions, which allow you to force links that open a new window to instead open a new tab. :)
• C_MonC_Mon A Genuine Sucker
Opera have never open a link as e new window, only as a tab. Although I can right click on a link a nd choose to open a link in a new window.
