Try laser ponter. Some cats go nuts nuts when seeing it and try to follow it everywhere, to walls or even to ceiling. :D
And when you shut of laser they wonder where did that red dot go and continue stalking it at least half hour.
I'm not sure why this don't work to my cat, it just keeps standing and follows dot by turning head lazily.
But it's damn good in climbing to trees.
It runs under one second from ground to roof of this building using that tree which is near the corner of it:

(also it tends to climb to all way to top of that three where branches are only three cm thick)

I've got a pretty funny pic (somewhere), of my cat chasing a dog.
My lump of jelly:

Wow so many cutie cat pics! E.T. was that mouse really in that pic? Or did you stick that on afterwards? Cool action shot either way. I yell at mine if he goes near a mouse! But he's been a good boy - meaning LAZY these days. Looks quite alot like yours too. Love the drunk ones on the sofa hehe.
Really though impressive photos.
I'd put my pic too but I don't know how to do a link. D'you have to have a web page to do it?
I'd love to draw some of these pics actually :)
BTW any of your cats have 6 toes?! Mine does and I used to think it was rare but its not that rare.

I live in farm so lazy cat isn't good because rats would start "running in corners".
BTW, Try lifting cat when it's completely sluggish :D

Just put images on server where you have space for web pages and then copy image's URL (address) and put it in URL tags. (use quote-button to see what these links looks)
"http://"-button makes links automatically.
At least these cats doesn't care much about partial solar eclipse or even thunderstorm. (is it same with your cats?)

[url]http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuunaes/Images/pets/sun.jpg[/url]
(BTW, there's one sunspot in that image)
And if you want to use these pictures, just go ahead.

You need webspace somewhere to store the image. Once you have the image online, just paste the link into your message and the BBS will handle the rest. Notice the "Automatically parse URLs" option below the post entry box.
Nice cats too.
And Martiandust... you do know that even domesticated cats are hunters and that they're trying to feed their families? Cats consider the family or the persons they live with to be their families and as such, try to catch birds and mice and bring them home as food. So they should be commended and patted for that, and the carcass just quickly and discreetly taken outside somewhere. :) Not yelled at if they find mice to hunt.
[B]Damn E.T, you have one hell of a digicam. Consider sharing the brand & model?[/B][/QUOTE]
Start saving for it.
[url=http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/minoltadimage7i/]Minolta 7i[/url]. (lot of easily usable settings, nice zoom range and manual zoom. :D)
[url]http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuunaes/Images/setting sun.jpg[/url]
[url]http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuunaes/Images/setting sun2.jpg[/url]

[url]http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuunaes/Images/setting sun4.jpg[/url]
[url]http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuunaes/Images/fall.jpg[/url]
I haven't done any editing (only resizing and tighter compression) to these images, just used settings and adjustment in camera.
That model isn't made anymore, 7Hi is newer version of it.
From Minolta's todays product range I would recommend [url=http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/minoltadimagea1/]A1[/url]
Image stabilisation should be very usefull in low light especially with tele.
(also recommend buying it from Germany, probably at least about 20 percent cheaper there)
I'll pass, thank you. I'm just saying I need some device that's a tad better for taking pictures of those larger-than-scanner-size pictures I draw from time to time. Well, I don't have any high expectations from my poster project but if I gain any coin from it, that's something I'll keep in mind. In the meantime... maybe I can go to some local professional photographer to take the shots of those pics... that might do.
[B]Holy Shit, Sherlock! 899 euros![/B][/QUOTE]
Well, what did you expect?
That's why these cameras are called prosumers.
Cheap and good meets rarely.
[i]Minolta Dimage A-1 ### Price: EUR 769,00[/i]

Well I wish they wouldn't play with their food. I can't commend that even though its in their nature. Eww the squealing noises and the chirpy help me noises from birds awww hehehe!
Anyway my cats too fat and spoiled to want to hunt. Not that I fattened him up purposefully you understand.
E.T that last pic isn't where you live is it?!
;)

I get at least 2 carcasses a day. Sometimes I regret not scolding them... hehe :)

E.T. think I'm going mad here or blind lol. I just realised that I must've missed one of your threads yesterday! Either that or you edited and sneaked it in later! ;)
The pic I was refering to was this one [url]http://koti.mbnet.fi/tuunaes/Images/fall.jpg[/url]
Lovely place if its yours. And umm thanks for the other mousey/cat pics? Which I didn't see. Dunno about the last one in that lot
 ;)
The eclipse.....did you take that?! Its very good.
Yeah I might draw or try to paint(learning at mo) some of your pics sometime, thanks. :)

I dunno......I reckon all your cats are vicious, everywhere but the UK. Think here they're more chilled out. Must be in the cat food. ;)
[QUOTE][B]Our cats leave the birds and mice at our doorstep.[/B][/QUOTE]
Thankfully all I get on my doorstep is milk from the milkman lol!
:p
