Sleeping in the Light on eBay!
Sanfam
I like clocks.
Yes, it is so! Sleeping in Light (The script), as autographed by JMS himself, is on ebay. The price at last check was just over $100, so those of you with deep pockets, here's something to think about! For the rest of us, something to lust over for the next few days...

I would love to have anything autographed by JMS! Well perhaps not anything. ;)
But the chances of having enough dough or meeting him for an auto is very slim! *sigh*
I got my SiL CD soundtrack signed by him a few months back....
U lucky thing. :)
Must've been a convention. I really miss the B5 cons here in UK. I don't remember JMS ever coming here to one and thats why I have a very slim chance. Did he do a talk? I can imagine it being awesome!
As for a talk, well, the venue didn't really call for that; it was simpler to just chat one-on-one with whoever happened to be around. He helped me choose some other comics not done by him to help me get further into comics in general.
Sanfam, I can't believe you actually called it "Sleeping in THE Light". Tsk tsk tsk. :)
Not that the signature isn't authentic; I'm sure it is.... it's just that the price makes me think people believe it's a cast/crew owned script or something.
Actually, it was a very small venue; a comic book shop where he was signing for issue 500 of Amazing Spider-Man. He's been doing the ASM comics for some time now. I also got my copy of Midnight Nation (another of his comics) and the In The Beginning DVD case signed.
Still very cool though and am ever so slightly envious all the same. :D
Reminds me of when I met Bruce Boxleitner, which was at venue like yours. He was signing his book which I ashamedly can't remember the title of! Did he ever do the 2nd one? It was a sci-fi western theme.
I've never read any comics either. Don't know...don't think I'd be able to get into them.

Thats what it would have me to believe too!

I actually prefer the smaller venue; it makes chatting a lot more feasible.
As for comics, well, pick up Midnight Nation some time. You should be able to find it in just about any comic shop. It's in graphic novel format, all twelve or thirteen issues published in one volume; that's all you need.

Thats not bad! Being all in one. :) I'll prolly try ordering online if I do, well if its available. Since there aren't any comic shops near me.
