  • Let's see what the Japanese do first, their debt is $6.3 trillion,
more than ours, especially per capita. They've been spending like it's the heady 80's since the 80's. If they go, the world econmy will take a nose dive and we may be in the sh!tter too, but we're not in as bad a shape.

The japanese have a policy of creating jobs, no matter what. As a result they have numerous unneeded public structures such as roads and airports with hardly anyone using them and a huge debt. A rather unfortunate policy.

  • Please, consider the source.

On the front page there is someone saying that Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened. The article, of course, doesn't come out and say it, but it's most definately implied. The best thing they can give us is a White House staffer who says he'd go to jail if he revealed what was in classified reports. This obviously means that these papers are just one part of a huge case against Bush on 9/11 .

I also love the one where the columnist thinks they're a one-person majority. They even speak using a "we." A decidedly imperialistic thing to do, for a hippie.

Agreed. In this particular article's case, it was an interesting read for as long as I could manage to ignore the clear bias that the writer had. I wasn't able to make it more than a quarter of the way through, though, then skimmed over the rest; just enough to get the gist.

Yes, nothing better than a tax cut.. reducing income, followed by increased defecit spending. Oh yes, we'll be out of debt in no time
